Tottenham completed the £23 million signing of winger Lucas Moura from Paris Saint Germain on deadline day, with the winger joining the Lilywhites on a five-and-a-half-year deal.

Becoming the London outfit’s first winter transfer signing since the arrival of Dele Alli from MK Dons in 2015, Spurs fans will be hoping he can make just as big an impact, as will on looking Draft Fantasy managers.

A traditional winger, who likes to get out on the flanks and attack his full-back, we are likely to see a significant contribution, in terms of creativity and assists, when Moura features in Mauricio Pochettino’s line-up. He will compete with Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Heung-min Son for places, there is no doubt.

In 72 minutes for PSG this season, constructed of five substitute appearances, the 25-year-old has netted once and provided one assist. However, to see the Brazilian’s real attacking value, we must look back to the previous season, during which he scored 12 and assisted five in 2435 Ligue 1 minutes.

Lucas has accrued 68 goal contributions (including assists) in 153 appearances throughout his time in France and he brings plenty of Champions League experience to Pochettino’s side. This season may have been one to forget for the Brazilian, but last term he was considered one of the best players in the country.

His game time at Parc des Princes was clearly been hampered by the summer arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe at the French outfit, alongside a number of other hugely talented attacking players, but this hasn’t stopped him from contributing when he does receive the opportunity to impress.

Currently unowned across mini leagues, due to the waiver ruling, the Brazilian is a risk, but perhaps one worth taking in order to get a Tottenham attacker in your Draft Fantasy squad. With huge competition for places around him, Moura is unlikely to enjoy weekly starts. Nonetheless, he will undoubtedly pick up points when he does feature.
