Novembers’ Draft Answers article is here to help you with your Draft Fantasy Football team! Giving you advice to keep you competitive in your league, this article features the best of Octobers’ polls, teams to target and the player to target. Finally, discover who scored the most Kante points last month.

Best of Polls

Firmino has been the toast of the polls during the month of October. The liverpool forward has been involved in a variety of polls and has won each one!

Firmino even won a poll when put up against Aubameyang who has been on fire in recent games! (OK, there was 1 poll he lost where it was Firmino and Lacazette v Salah and KdB, but he was never going to win that one!)

Bobby Firmino has not brought owners a return in Fantasy Football since mid-September, but the thought of the Draft Twitter Community is that he is definitely a forward that is worth keeping. The way Liverpool are playing it is easy to understand why. Hold faith owners, we think he will help you to win your matchups in the future!

Thank you to everyone who took part and voted throughout October. Your helping members of the Draft community make decisions on their Draft Team.

Teams to target 🎯

Everton – Brighton (H) Chelsea (A) Cardiff (H)

Ignoring the Chelsea away game, Everton have 2 nice looking home fixtures in November. Depending on the formation you choose it is easy for you to just bench the player you pick up for 1 week. Or if you are feeling particularly gutsy, start them against Chelsea too!

Defensive options are Coleman (28.3%) who is likely to be available in all but the largest of leagues, along with new signing Digne (19.7%).

Moving further up the team the usual starters are mostly taken aside from Gueye who could be worth a few points in Kante Point leagues. It is likely that defense is your only route into Everton right now, but these 2 fixtures do look appealing.

Watford – Newcastle (A) Southampton (A) Liverpool (H)

Yes, I know, this is 3 months on the bounce now that Watford have been a ‘team to target’… But they play Newcastle who can’t score, and Southampton who haven’t scored in the PL since September 17th!

Pick a Watford defender as your 5th defender / streaming option, double up with Foster (24.8%) if you can and you will surely get 1 or 2 clean sheets. While you’re at it, get Deulofeu (3.1%!) in as your 5th (or 6th midfielder if you’ve flexed) who is criminally under owned!

Leicester – Cardiff (A) Burnley (H) Brighton (A)

I had Leicester penciled in when 1st drafting this months’ article, but since then we have had the devastatingly sad news that their Chairman and 4 other people have died in a helicopter crash outside the King Power stadium. Out of respect to the deceased and their families, and to not disrespect the team who knew Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha personally, I will not name players that would be worth picking for your Draft Teams. This goes beyond the game that we play for fun, and I would not feel comfortable doing that so soon afterwards.

The player to target 🎯:

Barkley1 goal in each of his last 3 PL games, with 3 assists coming in 2 of those has made Barkley one of the inform players right now. Certainly not available in any semi-active league, it is going to take a trade to get him into your Draft Teams. Given Chelsea’s upcoming fixtures it is probably going to require giving up a tier 1 or 2 player at this stage. Your best chance will probably come if Sarri drops him for 1 game and Barkley doesn’t give a fantasy return.

If you are low in your league and carrying an underperforming midfield player, it may be worth the risk to bring him in.

Kante King of the Month 👑:

1)  Fernandinho: 9 Interceptions; 10 Tackles – KB Score: 6

=2) Gueye, Lemina, Milivojevic, Højbjerg, Amartay (🚑) Torreira – KB Score: 5

=3) Capoue, Moutinho, Neves, Hogg – KB Score: 4

(KB – Kante Bonus)

With only 3 games in October it has resulted in many players getting similar scores. Fernandinho was the stand out player though and he also rewarded his owners with a goal. Nice!

Milivojevic also got kante bonus points throughout the month and scored 2 goals last time out v Arsenal. In the previous game his 2 kante bonus points would have got you a solitary point. In standard leagues he would have got you –1 due to missing a penalty!

If you are looking to flex a 6th midfielder in a deep league using Kante points consider owning one of these guys.
