In addition to our past offerings, this season we are proud to announce many customisable features that were not available in previous seasons.

We offer both classic and head to head leagues, as well as private and public leagues.

Classic Leagues

In classic leagues teams are ranked based on the total number of points scored by their players throughout the season.

Head To Head Leagues

In head to head leagues each team plays against another opponent each week of the season. Just like the Premier League, a win is worth 3 points, a draw is worth 1 point, and a loss is worth 0 points. If the league has an odd number of teams in it, each week one team will play against the average score of all the teams in the league. Fixtures go all season long. In a league with 10 teams that runs for 38 weeks, each team will play each other 4 times from gameweeks 1 to 36, and in the last 2 weeks, teams will continue to play against each other. In the end each team would’ve played every other team 4 or 5 times. Which teams would play other 5 times is chosen at random, but by the end of the season, each all teams would have played 38 matches.

Private and Public Leagues

Private and Public leagues work the same way except private leagues won’t be listed in the public league table. This is so that only someone with the link will be able to join the private league. The league creator of a private league can manually start the draft with the click of a button. Public leagues start automatically at a given date. Also, settings for private leagues can be changed before the draft starts, whereas the settings in public leagues can’t be changed.

Playoffs

Private Leagues will have the option to add playoffs.

Playoffs mean that the league will end in tournament-style with the top 4 teams to decide the champion of the league. In the second to last gameweek (GW 37), the top 4 teams (in classic or head-to-head leagues) will be seeded and the top team will play the 4th best team, and the 2nd best will play the 3rd. The winners of those two games will play each other in the last gameweek (GW 38) to determine who will be crowned league champion!

Playoff leagues with less than 4 teams will only have a championship game during the last gameweek (GW38). Teams that are not in the top 4 of a head-to-head playoff league will not play the final two gameweeks of the season (GW 37&38).

Initial squads are chosen during the draft and must conform to the rules set before the draft by the league creator throughout the season:

Each squad must consist of between 11 – 15 players:

  • Between 1 – 2 Goalkeeper
  • Between 3 – 6 Defenders
  • Between 4 – 6 Midfielders
  • Between 1 – 5 Forwards

Flex Position

The league creator can add a Flex position. The Flex position means that a player can be traded for any other position. This means that a forward can be traded for another forward, a midfielder, a defender or even a goalkeeper. For example Harry Kane and Mo Salah can now be traded! That being said, starting lineups must still fit within the rules. This means you will not be able to start 4 forwards, 6 midfielders, 6 defenders, or more than one goalkeeper

If your league has chosen to add a Flex position, the Flex will not be part of the Draft but becomes functional directly after the draft has happened.

Custom maximum players per (Premier League) club

The league creator can set a maximum amount of players that managers in that league can have from any Premier League club. For example if the league creator sets the maximum players per club to 4, then each manager will only be allowed to have 4 players from each Premier League club.

Setting your Lineup and Auto-subs

Each week you choose 11 players to play and the remaining players sit on your squad’s bench. Leagues can decide to play with Auto-subs or not. The league creator controls this when creating the league. Auto-subs means that players on the bench, will replace lineup players that didn’t play in a gameweek as long as the formation remains valid. Also, the player furthest to the left on the team page has the highest priority to come on as a sub. Valid formations consist of at least 3 defenders and at least 1 forward. You always have one goalkeeper.

These are all the valid formations:

  • 3-4-3
  • 3-5-2
  • 4-3-3
  • 4-4-2
  • 4-5-1
  • 5-2-3
  • 5-3-2
  • 5-4-1
