It was only a few weeks ago that Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho was looking like one of the best midfield options in the Draft Fantasy Football. However, he now represents a huge risk as he may not even be in the Premier League at the end of the transfer window.

The speculation linking him to Barcelona, as reported by Spanish outlet Sport, refuses to go away and if Neymar does leave the Nou Camp for Paris Saint Germain, it is only going to intensify further.
At this stage, it can’t be stated with certainty that the Brazilian will stay at Anfield, which means he has to be avoided in Draft Fantasy Football.
Last season, he started as one of the best players in the Premier League and, if he had avoided injury, he would have finished in the top five midfielders, with ease.
As it was, he finished as the 8th best in his position, which is mightily impressive considering his spell out of the team with injury.
He scored 199 points, an impressive return and he would probably score more if he does stay, but that is a huge ‘if’.

In Draft Fantasy Football, it is crucial to make the most of your early picks and the little Brazilian could prove to be a waste. If you were to pick him and he leaves, the waiver list becomes the only other option.
That said, if you can pick him up in the later rounds of the draft, you could potentially benefit from the uncertainty surrounding his current situation. Just do not take him on early.
