Chelsea could make a sensational move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, according to Sky Sports.

One of the highest scorers in the game last season, with 20 goals and 143 points, the striker is likely to be one of the earliest picks in your Draft Fantasy league.

Moving to Chelsea could make him an even more valuable addition too. The Argentine suffered a fall in his points tally last season, mostly due to the arrival of Gabriel Jesus at the Etihad.

The Brazilian forced Aguero out of the side, impacting not only his game time but also his goal return, which fell from 24 goals the year before.

How would a move to Chelsea benefit his game?

If Aguero were to move to Chelsea, he would be the undisputed first choice striker, assuming the role of Diego Costa. That would see him complete 90 minutes more often than not. In addition, he would be relying on the likes of Pedro, Willian and Eden Hazard for service.

There are few better attacks in the Premier League, as Chelsea showed last season, and Aguero would thrive on their service. In addition, Aguero’s clinical finishing could see those wingers earn even more points from their assists.

However, it is also worth remembering that such a big move may see him take time to adapt to his new surroundings. That wasn’t the case when Aguero moved to City, as he scored eight goals in his first five Premier League games, but that was six years ago.

Getting used to life at Chelsea, along with any delay in joining the Blues, could dent his points total.

Could a Stamford Bridge switch make him a first round pick?

That said, such a deal would be huge for your Draft Fantasy team. Aguero is already one of the most in demand players in the early rounds of the draft, even at Manchester City, and a move to Chelsea would only make him more valuable. This could be one to keep an eye out for throughout the transfer window.
