With the Brazilian set to miss the opening game against Watford through a back injury, it may be worth considering whether or not to try to trade him out of your Draft Fantasy Football squad. If you’re yet to draft your squad, the number 10 could be a big risk if he does opt to move on and Liverpool do cash in.

The same can be said of Danny Rose. Sky Sports believe that both Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in the full-back, who is one of the highest scoring defenders given his attacking style. Rose too will miss the start of the campaign as he overcomes a long term injury.

Whilst Rose’s potential to score highly could be maintained or even enhanced by a move to one of these clubs, there is also the risk that Tottenham will bench him until a move is completed as Mauricio Pochettino did with Kyle Walker. That could limit his score across the season.

One player who could be an interesting and underrated pick could be Timothy Fosu-Mensah. The 19-year-old has joined Crystal Palace on a season long loan, Manchester United have confirmed on their club website. Despite having had limited game time at Old Trafford, he has developed a promising reputation.

Given regular minutes at Selhurst Park, he could be one of the big winners from the Kante rule if deployed in midfield or even in defence, where he is a flexible and reliable option.

Another player who could benefit hugely from the Kante rule is William Carvalho. The Daily Mail believe that West Ham United could make a £25 million move for the Sporting Lisbon holding midfielder, who could be a high scoring waiver option if a deal is completed before the window shuts at the end of the month.
