Cometh the hour, cometh the hero as far as Watford are concerned.

For the second week in a row Richarlison – the bizarrely named £12 million summer arrival from Brazilian side Fluminense – scored a goal deep in injury-time to secure the Hornets some points.

Last time out it was a 90th minute winner against Swansea City, thumping home a finish off the crossbar, and on Saturday it was even more dramatic as his 94th minute header secured a point away at West Brom.

It was richly deserved for another bright and enterprising display from Marco Silva’s side and the young Brazilian was right at the heart of everything good that Watford produced at the Hawthorns.

With his performances on the pitch having a telling impact week-in, week-out at the minute, Richarlison could well be worth considering for your Draft Fantasy side after the international break.

On Saturday afternoon he accumulated his best points total yet, scoring 12 points after scoring, assisting Abdoulaye Doucoure’s goal and earning himself three bonus points with his solo display.

The plucky 20-year-old had seven shots, won four aerial battles, won three tackles, and completed a couple of successful dribbles in a well-rounded performance in attack, and any of the early trepidation concerning his surprise move to the Premier League has well and truly disappeared now.

Out of all of the forwards in the Premier League only Romelu Lukaku, Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Morata and Harry Kane currently have more points to their names than Richarlison does (44) after seven matches, and if he is unselected he is more than worth giving a go when the Premier League returns in a fortnight.

Watford have a favourable run of fixtures coming up too, facing Stoke City, Everton, West Ham and Newcastle before the end of November, and the young Brazilian is well-placed to fill his boots again.
