Tottenham midfield duo Christian Eriksen and Moussa Dembele stole the plaudits on Tuesday night as the Lilywhites mounted a comeback to draw with Juventus.

After falling 2-0 behind within ten minutes of the Champions League first knock-out to a quick-fire Gonzalo Higuaín double, Harry Kane and Eriksen found the net to earn a draw for the Lilywhites.

Eriksen’s display returned a handsome 10 points for his Draft Fantasy owners, as he scored the equalising goal and grabbed a well-deserved two bonus points.

It was his slice of quality from a little under 25 yards out that brought Tottenham level on the night, giving Mauricio Pochettino’s side a real chance of qualification during the return leg at Wembley.

The Dane was the creative lynchpin for Spurs as they mounted a comeback, fashioning six shots at goal and three key passes, and it was rather fitting that it was his strike that earned a share of the spoils.

For Draft Fantasy managers who own Mousa Dembele it was a less fruitful night, despite his domineering performance in the centre of the park.

The Belgian international isn’t a player who typically picks up a huge number of points, with the TIR (tackles, interceptions and recoveries) scoring system being his greatest friend.

Dembele returned a haul of four points on Tuesday evening, as he made four tackles and one interception, while creating two key passes – second to only teammate Eriksen.

He was an absolute powerhouse in possession, completing six dribbles and a remarkable 95% of his passes.

The Spurs duo were integral to their side’s against the reigning Italian champions and onlookers were quick to recognise their contribution on Twitter.
