Candidly, there are better and more important things to do in life than staying glued to Draft Fantasy Premier League. However, weekends will never remain the same again for the fans of football, particularly the FPL managers, with the suspension of the English Premier League due to the coronavirus (COVID 19) outbreak in all countries of the world. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Monday nights, it will be more than boring without the regular updates notifying you that Harry Kane has shown his worth again by scoring yet another goal. The suspension has left many FPL managers wondering about what will happen to their various teams. Although we are pretty sure that Fantasy Football League is the least of all your worries at the moment, millions of fantasy managers will be very curious about how the season will be concluded with all the leagues and cup competitions in the country suspended, and everything is hanging in uncertainty. Although fantasy football points might be on pause, betting on fantasy sports isn’t, so there is still money to be won.

To clear some of this uncertainty, we have made available for you, all you need to know, about the FPL, how the season will pan out, and the impacts of coronavirus on the FPL season.

What Happens to your Chips, Wildcards, and Transfers?

According to the FPL, any chips, wildcards, or transfers played during the suspension of game weeks will not be refunded or reinstated. In other words, all FPL managers are staying away from playing their chips, wildcards, or making any transfer during the league’s postponement, or else they will lose those chips, wildcards, and transfers. So as a fantasy manager, you have to be careful not to do any of the above-listed things in the next few weeks.

FPL has also stated that any points hits for transfers made by any manager during the suspended game weeks will reflect in the totals of their game week.

The most important of all these messages is the notification to all FPL managers that despite all games being suspended, the Fantasy Premier League system will continue the usual way, so any chips, transfers, wild cards, and deductions played will still be added to your account.

Managers will be able to cancel any Bench Boost chips or Triple Captain, which have been played before the game week deadline. However, this doesn’t apply to the transfers made by them or the free hit chips or wildcards they played.

What Fate Awaits the Postponed Fixtures?

The FPL has also stated that all the fixtures in game week 30 and game week 31 have been postponed till further notice. This is because of the postponement of all the fixtures of the English Premier League. The FPL also announced an intention for the FPL and Premier League to continue on April 4 on game week 32. But this intention and decision will be subject to medical advice.
