Everton host Arsenal this weekend in what will be the early kick-off on Sunday. It is an intriguing contest as both sides are coming into the match needing a positive result.

The home side find themselves near the foot of the table after a disappointing start, while the visitors lost to Watford last weekend and can’t afford another setback.

The Gunners will want to finish in the top-four as a minimum and, at the moment, they don’t look capable of it.

Although there aren’t many great Draft Fantasy options on the two sides in terms of season contribution, there are a few that could make an impact this weekend.

Here are three to start and three to bench for this fixture:

Three to pick

Nacho Monreal – Arsenal

The Spaniard has been an ever-present this season and is currently in the top-three scoring defenders with 58 points in those games with the Kante rule activated.

He is very good at picking up points through this and is often one of main contenders to sweep up bonus points.

Everton have only managed to score five times this season, which means a clean sheet for Arsenal is a real possibility.

Alexandre Lacazette – Arsenal

Olivier Giroud was the striker chosen to start in the Europa League, which means that his compatriot is likely to lead the line in the Premier League.

His record of four goals during the first eight matches is impressive, but there is a feeling that there is more to come from him.

Everton look patchy at the back and will concede chances. In Lacazette, the visitors have a player capable of taking them.

Gylfi Sigurdsson – Everton

The Icelandic midfielder may be seen as a huge risk, considering he is yet to gain a goal or an assist in the Premier League, but he looked good against Lyon in the Europa League.

It was his superb free-kick delivery that led to the Toffees’ only goal and he hit the post minutes later.

Arsenal aren’t the most convincing when defending set-pieces and Sigurdsson’s delivery could cause them real problems.

Three to drop

Mesut Ozil – Arsenal

The German international played no part in the team’s Europa League match against Red Star Belgrade, which suggests that he will be involved against Everton.

However, he has had a poor start to the season and doesn’t look motivated at Arsenal any more.

It would be a big risk to give him a prominent spot in your line-up, until he shows signs of improvement. He has yet to contribute a single goal or assist this season.

Davy Klaassen – Everton

There will have been a lot of Draft Fantasy players looking at the former Ajax captain at the beginning of the season, but he has yet to impress in an Everton shirt.

He was failed to make an impact during the week and his participation in that game suggests he isn’t going to feature regularly in the Premier League. It isn’t worth having him in your squad at the time of writing.

Jordan Pickford – Everton

At the beginning of the season, Jordan Pickford was one of the popular goalkeepers, as Everton were expected to keep a lot of clean sheets.

He has only kept one Premier League clean sheet to date and it seems unlikely that he will manage to get one this weekend.

The Englishman has a lot of potential, but there are a lot of better options when it comes to goalkeepers.
