Everton have agreed a deal with Besiktas for striker Cenk Tosun and are now working on personal terms with the player, according to BBC Sport.

The Toffees have regained the ability to win again under manager Sam Allardyce and the addition of a clinical striker is a positive means way of ensuring continued success at Goodison Park.

With Dominic Calvert Lewin the only truly capable out-and-out striker currently available at Everton, Tosun will bring some much needed relief for the overworked teenager.

Although not blessed with pace, Tosun is strong with both feet and a capable finisher. He offers an aerial threat, standing at six feet, and he is a team player – contributing three assists this term.

With 10 goals in 16 appearances while playing as a centre forward this season, including four in the Champions League from six starts, Everton fans are right to be excited about their impending new arrival.

Tosun is expected be registered in time to feature against Liverpool in the FA Cup third round on Friday, which means he will be added to waivers ahead of the following Premier League game week.

If you are in a highly competitive mini-league, the Turkey international could be a valuable second choice forward option and he is certainly worth a gamble.

If he can get 10 goals before the end of the season and Sam Allardyce can improve him as a player, then he could be an astute pick up for your Draft Fantasy side.
